Marina Port de Mallorca will host the Superyacht New Build Hub zone at the 2026 edition of the Palma International Boat Show.
This dedicated zone will bring together some of the world’s leading sailing yacht shipyards and supporting industry companies, further strengthening Marina Port de Mallorca’s position as a marina equipped to accommodate projects linked to the Mediterranean superyacht new-build sector.
The Superyacht New Build Hub will offer 20 premium berths for sailing yachts ranging from 30 to 60 meters LOA, along with a land-based exhibition area featuring more than 20 companies specialized in new-build projects and related services.
Following its debut last year at a different location within the Port of Palma, the relocation of this zone to Marina Port de Mallorca represents the next step in consolidating the initiative, providing a modern and functional space with strong connections to the city and other show locations.
Arne Ploch, Director of Palma Superyacht Village, explains that the Superyacht New Build Hub is an initiative designed to support the local nautical industry by attracting a greater number of vessels and clients to Palma. The New Build Hub exhibition at Marina Port de Mallorca will be the largest display of large sailing yachts for sale or charter ever seen at a boat show. Maintaining Palma’s status as one of the world’s leading sailing destinations depends on commitment to the yacht-building industry. The Palma International Boat Show is no longer just another Spanish boat show but a leading national event that now stands alongside major international shows such as Cannes, Monaco, and Genoa.
Patrick Reynes, CEO of Marina Port de Mallorca, states that the marina is proud to host the Superyacht New Build Hub and collaborate with the Palma International Boat Show. He emphasizes their firm belief in supporting projects that create real synergies between shipyards, professionals, and yacht owners, while reinforcing the marina’s role as a facility equipped for large-scale projects and an active partner in initiatives shaping the future of the international nautical industry.
Marina Port de Mallorca is located on Palma’s Paseo Marítimo waterfront and is managed by IPM Group. In September 2025, the marina unveiled a future development plan focused on energy efficiency and environmental responsibility, under the motto “a marina that breathes green and lives blue.”
Isabel Martínez, Sales Director of Marina Port de Mallorca, explains that the arrival of the Superyacht New Build Hub provides an opportunity to connect yacht owners, shipyards, and specialized companies with a marina offering the technical capacity, services, and location required to support new-build projects from their earliest stages. This zone further strengthens our position within the superyacht industry and confirms the marina as a natural meeting point for the Mediterranean new-build ecosystem.
For IPM Group, this commitment reflects a clear ambition to advance the nautical industry by creating platforms that foster innovation, increase the visibility of new projects, and encourage collaboration across the entire sector.
At its previous edition, the Superyacht New Build Hub brought together leading shipyards and brands from around the world, including Baltic Yachts, which showcased advanced models such as Canova and Pink Gin Verde, as well as Southern Wind with Kiboko 4. The presence of these leading industry names clearly positioned the zone as a specialized meeting point within the Palma International Boat Show. The shipyards and exhibitors participating in the 2026 edition will be announced soon.
